Well soooooo much has happend since I last posted!!!!
Parents are strange people............ I figured for them to let me go to prom with my friends (no date
) I'd have to beg and plead and show how mature I am. Well almost right off they're like 'OK, you know what's right and you have a cell phone to call us if anything starts happening'. So I waited until Mom and I were shopping for a dress yesterday to hit her with the after prom thing. She asked what they were doing and I told then she wanted to know when it was over sooooooo when I told her 4:30 she rolled her eyes and TOLD ME I COULD GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I about had cardiac arrest right there in JC Penny!!! Well I did finally get a dress so that's good. I think I'll just go ahead and wear my black dress shoes b/c they're comfortable and if I'm going to have them on until midnight then I think I want them to be comfy.
Since I fell asleep at about 8:30 last night I woke up REALLY early this morning. So far at 5:45 I've had 2 glasses of orange juice and 3 bags of whatever kind of juice mom bought last Friday.
Well by now Mom and Dad are home.
I really NEED to study for a math test that I'm having in 3 short hours. I can already feel that today is gonna be the longest day of my life. What's really bad is we're watching Schindler's List in history and it's gonna be dark, warm and I can feel the sleep coming on already...... I actually kind of like the movie but I don't really wanna watch it again.
I really wanna go back to bed since I'm starting to feel the sleep again but my alarm's going to go off in 10 min soooo probably not a good idea.
Now that book month is over I FINALLY started something that was halfway decent. I decided to write a Hawaii Five-0 FF. I took the plot line from the Vashon eps and combined it with one of the Dirty Harry movies. I've got about 8 pages so far and if it turns out ok i might post it.
Maybe I can convince my mom to let me stay home for 1st hour today then I could study for Spanish and Algebra 2.
Sigh........I hear the alarm going off. Time for me to go get in the shower. Better go turn the alarm off before my brother starts yelling at me.
Ok Mom and Dad have been gone for 2 days and there's been no blood shed!!!! Whoo hoo!!!!! Only we did have a minor problem today.
The printer broke because someone doesn't know how to change the ink cartridges. So my brother decided to be a man and shove the new ink cartridge in....well he broke something. So he called in sick at work for this afternoon and is out looking for another printer to replace the one that he broke. ha ha!
Well I thought I was gonna get beat up after school today! In my Algebra 2 class there's this sophomore who's had 2 kids already and is currently living off of gvt assistance. Well we had this sub and she's calling off roll (45 min into class) and gets to my name and that girl turns around and is like "Is your dad that lawyer?" Needless to say I was thinking 'Oh goody I'm gonna die now!' soooo I was like 'yeah....uh huh.' and she's like "No offense but your dad's a total b*****d!" so I decided to be safe since this girl could be Hoss in a all female version of Bonanza, "Well he's really not unless you make him really mad." Best I could tell was that she wanted to sue one of the dads of her 2 kids and dad must have told her where to get off. My dad's a nice person but he'll just flat out tell you when you're being stupid.
Well I've got more to say but I'm hungry so I think I'll make a run to Taco Bell to get a burrito!
Today was a really good day!!!! Since I didn't get to corrupt the future of America today I loafed all morning long! It was GREAT!!!!! Then Mom left to go work on some new project at the church. Matt went to work and Dad was at work. At about noon Dad called and asked if I wanted to go eat lunch. Since he didn't want to go back to the office anyway we spent the afternoon roaming around the mall. I got a pair of jeans since my favorite ones have a hole in them.
Dad then gave me some helpful 'legal' advice.
1. Never date anyone that both your parents are friends.
2. Never be afraid to come and talk to him.
3. Don't ever continue to date a guy that 'pressure's' you.
Since it was kinda cool and VERY windy we went and rented movies. I have a new hero now! Harry Callahan! SIGH........ I know this is really sad to say but Harry is the dream guy. [mental note: call the shrink] Well if you gave Harry some of Candy's qualities [i.e. sense of humor at times] I'd go out and buy every single one of the movies.......
Sometimes I think that I should send my life story to Hollywood and they could make a soap out of it.......
1) That slut L* called me today and screamed her little lungs out. Ok I remained calm and did not throw the cell phone across the room when she began to call me every name in the book. Just because *I* acted all sweet and innocent with MY boyfriend (or I guess I should say ex again) Ex's dad and her dad are making them get married. ROTFLMBO!!!
2) Had to babysit cute little cousin's again today......Only today I let them watch Bonanza. Well anyhoo their mother called screaming her head off that *I* let her poor innocent darlings watch something as violent as Bonanza!! So I was NICE and 'took it like a woman' as dad would say.
3) Next week my brother and I are going to be home alone!! One of their friends from VA just died and so they're flying out on Sunday and will be back on Friday. My brother and I have at least reached 'civil' terms again.
On a good note I think I finally have something for book month!!!! I just sent it to Shea so that she could proof it!
Well yeah......I did get to write last night but what I wrote was just toooooooo stupid to post... Like the entry says, I'm a chicken butt. When I write it's sooooo spastic (kinda like me only worse). I also think I have ADHD because I can't write on one story too long and I'll switch over to something else. I think Shea is getting really frusterated with me because I'll write about 10 to 15 pgs and then move on to something else. She pointed out yesterday that "At least *I* finish mine". I mean I could be writing as I'm typing this but this is more interesting.
Oh well today I'm out of school for parent teacher conferences. Thankfully mom didn't go!! I need to call Chris to ask what time he's picking me up. Last night I told Chase that I just wanted to be friends. (Hey he was the jerk that broke up w/ me last time and THEN showed up at church a few short hours later with a hooker wanna be! So I figure that I'm justified) Naturally he was all whiny about it. I need to write an essay for A Farewell to Arms trying to convince all the radical people out in the world that it shouldn't be banned. Then I need to read The Great Gatsby. I think I hear Spark notes calling me........ I mean I was going to go get the movie and just watch it but then I decided that it probably wasn't the best thing in the world to do.
Tonight is dad's party where all the old people are going to come over and the men are going to watch basketball and the women are going to sit in the kitchen and talk about their mid life crisis's. I think I'll be watching basketball if I can 'escape'.
What's really sucky is that I'm going to be the youngest one there by about 30 years. It's not that i don't like old people it's just that all they talk about is religion, politics (strangly enough more of them are hard core liberals and I tend to lean more towards the 'conservative' side)
While Mom was out doing her daily 4 mile walk I watched Bonanza hoping to get inspired for some ff. Unfortunatly right in the middle of The Big Jackpot she came home. But I got to watch the 'good' parts of Riot, Sense of Duty, New Man and some of The Big Jackpot. Whoo Hoo!!!
I have decided that my favorite Candy ep is Sense of Duty. I used to be this hard core Star Crossed fan but then DD pointed out that it was a sappy dorky episode where Candy acts like a total tard and then I watched it just to get some ammo to prove her wrong.......and well I have to agree with her. The best (and funniest) part was when Laura got shot. The second time that I watched it I was LMBO......great now I am corrupted. Sigh......but hey corrupted people have more fun in life!!
Now that I've written a novel I'll go try to work on something for book month....
He's 52 now....... Matt and I decided to be good
's and since I got out of school early today we went by Baskin Robbin's and got a ice cream cake w/ dad's favorite ice cream and took it to his office. We decided to share with his fellow lawyers. Well Mr. Kelly decided to close the office down for the rest of the day! So we all sat around and ate A TON of ice cream and cake. I think i'm getting ready to be
!!! Well Dad's happy soooo we're happy. He and Matt are downstairs right now looking at the new hunting rifle that mom got him. It's really dorky b/c it's got that camo stuff on it. Both Matt and Dad acted like it was essential to shoot a deer....... Ok well I don't think that the stupid deer is going to know the difference if your gun has camo or not!!!! Unfortunatly deer season is out
!! So they're gonna have to wait until fall to take the 'prize' out. Although they could go down to mom's families 'ranch' and try it out for target practice......
Yeah well uh thanks for that great wish Wendy..........
Today was a good day. And that's about it........
I just read the last journal entry and I don't want everyone thinking that I'm a banned book fanatic. Ok what I meant was that I think that A Farewell to Arms was soooooo boring that it should be banned. Seriously I have to write at least a 6 page essay on why the stupid book shouldn't be banned!!!!! Sooooo book month is going to be pushed back even farther!!!!!!
Today was an exciting day!! I watched The Apple Dumpling Gang this morning thinking that Tim Matheson was in it....well I was wrong it was the Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again. Hey it was worth watching just for the all too few Tim parts. Then the ADT people called our house and said that Granny F pushed her emergency button. Talk about feeling guilty for all the nasty things that I said..... Well Mom and Dad ran up to the hospital leaving me and Matt all alone to make dinner for ourselves. Well as you can imagine Jennifer called and they talked about wedding plans (For crying out loud they aren't getting married for AT LEAST two more years!!!!!!!) Well *HE* wanted onion burgers which are disgusting and stink up the whole house!!! I tried to talk him into going to Del Rancho to get them but nooooooo he didn't want to get out and I still had my pj's on. (Yes I finally took a shower) So I made onion burgers and about half the meat burned onto the pan which matt used the old excuse, "You made the mess you clean it up" I wanted to throw something at him!!!!!! He's psycho!!! Ever since he's gotten engaged he's CRAZY AND ANNOYING!!!!
Oh the great debate was solved today! We are taking the Hummer on vacation!! Yeah we'll see how long that one lasts. Dad's going to win out in the end though by using the old $$$$$ for gas trick. I don't really care which car they take just as long as they quit planning a vacation that's not happening until June!! As Napoleon Dynamite would say, "Gosh!"
I should go into acting! I had sooooooooooo much homework last night and I didn't get to write but Z* got on the yahoo im and we talked and of course the homework didn't get done and i had a test in Algebra 2.
Z* is the nicest guy I know. Since my parents are all spastic about R rated movies he's buying one for me since he works at best buy. Hey I'm 17 sooooooo I don't see the problem!! Not only that but he's super duper nice too.
An amazing feat occured this morning......I didn't get yelled at! Even though I was up until 12 reading A Farewell to Arms (I can see why the book was banned) It follows the movie kinda sorta so I'm all set for the quiz today! Oh well back on topic.....I got on time, got ready on time and didn't use my brother's toothpaste! Then I turned the tears on as I was leaving and got to stay home. Hey I don't care! Whatever works for me to get my DVD player!
I hear mom coming up the stairs sooooo I better get back to work!
